My Famous Horse

I was so honored, upon my return from Red Bluff today, to pull this from my mail box. This is the February edition of Quarter Horse Journal. Thank you, Andrea Caudill, for doing an amazing job of capturing this once in a lifetime horse. I owe him so much.

Repairs

Winter doesn’t slow us down much.  Thanks to Frank Saunders for repairing the water box (modeled here by Kim and Dixie).waterbox

And thanks to Suzanne Dorrance for repairing the manure bucket cart. We’re on a “roll.”

Growing Family

It’s been great having Pat Grant and Randy Goodchild’s fine foxtrotters for the past few months.  And, as you can see, they’ve added to their family with this great lab pup, JD. Although their horses are going home to  Marina, count on seeing them around lots in 2020.

Congratulations, Meghan Carr!!

More of Lou. It was fun to go through this process with Meghan.  After a great deal of research, she bid and bought this horse online during the live auction.  I thought she was really brave.  We are all so excited about this horse’s future.

One red roan leaves the barn and another arrives…..

Congratulations, Meghan Graddy Carr, on your purchase of Luis Bonner at the Red Bluff Gelding Sale. This fancy four year old is by One Time Pepto and out of a High Brow Cat mare. He is unshown due to his owner’s unfortunate circumstances just before the futurity, but Meghan and I will take care of that! Meghan was remarkably brave, focused, and organized as she went about making this purchase. She did it online, bidding against others present at the sale, as I sat at the auction with a pounding heart. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

Pops and his new owner

Congratulations to Marshall Harmon on his purchase of Drift a Poppin. Pop is off to a new career as a head horse, and Marshall is so excited about his potential. I think he looks great with a team roping saddle.

Pops Was Ready

Poppin looked great at the Red Bluff gelding sale.  Brian Huntsberger did a great job showing him and fitting him.  Thanks to Brian and Mary Kate for giving this horse your very best and for loving him.  He’s a good one, and he’s found a good new home.
