As most of you know, I will be away in Colorado from August 25-September 5. During that time, a couple of events will take place:
The final GSVRHA event of the year will take place at Sugarland Horse Park on September 2 in Woodland, Ca. Please go and show. This is a great chance for those of you are in contention for year-end points. Entries are available at GSVRHA.com. Sign up now!
Closer to home, but on the same date, the Santa Lucia Preserve is putting on their annual Fandango. Trail and Saddle Club members are invited to attend. Entries and information is available at CVTSC.org.
Need I say more? Classes are filling fast. I will be home for this one!!
October 12-15, the Wine and Roses Quarter Horse Circuit in Corning, California will be offering four full AQHA versatilities. It is unlikely that I will be attending these because of the events that follow shortly thereafter. However, anyone who wants or needs AQHA points should think about this great opportunity to GET IT DONE! Go to Wine and Roses Quarter Horse Circuit for info.
October 18 is a DON’T MISS OPPORTUNITY. Tony Agredano of Cinch Up Productions is putting on a full AQHA versatility at the COW PALACE in San Francisco. THE COW PALACE LIVES! Do you have a bucket list item that involves showing in this venerable old building?? This show is also an open, all-breed versatility. Information and entries will soon be available, and I will be certain to publicize. We are encouraged to camp in living quarters trailers in the parking lot, and I will be staying in a hotel. I am very excited about Tony’s decision to revive and improve this event. We need to be supportive of his efforts. I plan to go up to the “city” on October 17, show on October 18, spend another night in the “city,” then depart for…….
THE GSVRHA FINALS IN LINCOLN, CALIFORNIA!! We are allowed to move in to the Triple Crown Equestrian Center on October 19. All of you who have competed in just one GSVRHA show are qualified. This event is also an AQHA show….another opportunity for points. Watch my blog and GSVRHA.com for entries, soon to come. We are going to “do it up right,” folks. SEE YOU THERE!
