First and foremost: Get your entries in for the Central Coast Ranch Horse Classic! I know that they are coming in quickly right now, and there is limited space available.
June 8-11 Marks a Quarter Horse Show at the Rolling Hills Equestrian Center in Corning, California. This is a “must go” for any riders hoping to attend the 2017 AQHA VRH World Show (held in June, 2018). It is two two-day shows (for a total of four days), and both of those shows are double-judged. This means there are four opportunities for AQHA points. Click below for a flyer and more information.
In a bit of a conflict, the final two days of this show run concurrently with the next GSVRHA show, this time held in Lincoln, California at the same venue where we will hold the WSVRHA finals in October. Not a problem!! A quick Google search revealed that Corning and Lincoln are only two hours apart. I plan to attend the first two or three days of the Corning show, then drive down to Lincoln for the Golden State Show. Go to http://www.GSVRHA.com for details on the Golden State clinic and competition. I hope that there are many of you who would like to join me on this summer sojourn. Let’s go!
At the end of June, I will be traveling to my homeland, Sheridan, Wyoming, to give a versatility clinic. The flyer for this clinic is below. I plan to drive and trailer some horses. While I don’t expect any of you to spend money on a clinic from me (when you are already spending money to get private training), I want you to know that you are all invited. Might make a great vacation!
